Upon arrival at the Residence students will have to present a valid document: passport or identity card. Citizens of non-EU Countries must have a passport with a STUDY VISA.
Within 8 days of their arrival at the Residence, Erasmus students with a scholarship for more than three months and all Tempus non-EU citizens must obtain a RESIDENCE PERMIT from a local Police Station (see above). A copy of this residence permit must be given to the manager of the Residence.
Upon arrival students will also have to:
· present the Certificate (Attestato) to the Erasmus Office.
· sign the Residence Rules and then return them to the Business Office.
· present the bill of health issued by their personal doctor.

ARRIVALS

New arrivals are only accepted between 9.30 and 22.30, Monday through Friday, and between 10.00 and 20.00 Saturday.

ROOMS
The Residence has double rooms only for a total of 60 guests. Each room has single beds, wardrobes, desks, bedside tables, television, phone, bathroom, central heating and several other accessories. Cooking inside the room is forbidden because a canteen ("mensa universitaria") is available inside the Residence.

PRICES
The price is 4,28 € per day. Payment is accepted in cash only.

COMMON AREAS
· A GYM (approximately 100 square meters) with two exercise bikes, one exercise bench, one rowing machine, two special benches for sit-ups. There are also two changing rooms with a toilet and a shower for men and women.
· A GAME ROOM (160 square meters) with a billiard table, two table tennis tables, three tables with chairs for those games of cards allowed by law.
· A TV ROOM with a big television and two decoders for viewing of digital channels (TELEPIU’, STREAM). A video tape recorder is also available.
· A READING ROOM WITH LIBRARY (specialised in Law). The room is comfortably furnished (16 seats) and adequately illuminated. There is a wide selection of books (specialised in law), newspapers and magazines.
· A COMPUTER ROOM with eight PCs connected to the internet (ISDN line) and a laser printer. Each PC is brand-new and has a web-cam and speakers.
· A MEETING ROOM (90 seats) available for meetings, conferences, lessons. It can also be used for film screenings.
· THE CANTEEN (80 seats) is on the ground floor. It is open for dinner and partially for lunch to all guests enrolled at the University of Rome “Tor Vergata”. The canteen also has a fully equipped kitchen.
· THE LAUNDERETTE has two automatic washing machines (8 kilos each) and one automatic dryer (16 kilos). Each automatic machine is operated by inserting tokens (available on request).
· THE RECEPTION, at the entrance to the building, is where both the concierge and security are located. There is a centralised telephone line (for internal and external calls) and a mail box for each guest.
