UNIVERSITY COLLEGE DUBLIN FELLOWSHIPS
Ref: (001264)

The Dublin European Institute was established in 1999 at UCD to provide a
dynamic focus for postgraduate teaching and research in the field of
European Studies. In addition to two long-standing Master's degrees (MA
and MEconSc), the Institute also offers an integrated doctoral programme
in cooperation with the Faculty of Human Sciences and the Institute for
the Study of Social Change (ISSC). The Institute is now inviting
applications for pre (final year) or postdoctoral fellowships for
2003/2004 for students whose research would profit from an extended
period of residency at the Dublin European Institute.

Up to two full-time Fellowships to a maximum value of 15,000 per annum,
tenable for one year may be available. Applicants must indicate how their
research would benefit from the award of a DEI Fellowship and must be
prepared to contribute to the management/administration and teaching of
the Institute to a maximum of 20 hours per week. Applicants must be
available to take up the Fellowship from Monday 30 June 2003 or soon
thereafter. The closing date for receipt of applications is 6 May 2003.

Application should be made by submission of CV and covering letter which
together will include: 1) academic history; 2) outline of proposed
research; 3) administrative/management experience and 4) at least
one academic reference. Completed application packs should be marked
